In conjunction with International Parkinson Day on April 11, 2015, Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) awarded National Hospital and dr. Achmad Fahmi, a neurosurgeon specialist at National Hospital. National Hospital was entered into MURI as the first hospital in Indonesia to perform Parkinson surgery, tremor procedure and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) installation. Dr. Achmad Fahmi was awarded the record as a pioneer in DBS application and in the development of stereotactic brain lesion for Parkinson and movement disorder in Indonesia.
