Jakarta, (30\/12) \u2013 The national property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk, through its Intiland Foundation, participates in the regional government program in providing integrated children-friendly public space (RPTRA). Situated in front of Karet Tengsin low-cost apartment (rumah susun), South Jakarta, this public space was inaugurated by Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama on Wednesday, December 30, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suhendro Prabowo, Intiland\u2019s Vice President Director and Chief Operating Officer said the development of the public space is the concrete manifestation of Intiland Teduh program, which is part of the Intiland\u2019s CSR programs. Together with the provincial government of Greater Jakarta, Intiland is taking part in developing Jakarta into a city suitable for children\u2019s development.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIntiland grows with the community. We want all of us to progress together positively in good environment; and RPTRA is a supporting element to achieve this objective,\u201d Suhendro explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

RPTRA Intiland Teduh Karet Tengsin occupies 727 square meters of land and is equipped with various facilities, including open green space, multifunction room, lactation rooms, a library and a playground. With the help of a team from the University of Indonesia in mapping the needs of the community, the concept of the public space is expected to become one of the centers of community development.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are optimistic that this facility will not become only a passive building, but it can also serve its functions well so that the community can benefit from the facility,\u201d Suhendro added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from the public space in Karet Tengsin, Intiland has also built two other integrated children-friendly public spaces, one in Rawa Buaya, West Jakarta, and the other one in Semper Barat, North Jakarta. To achieve maximum result and give optimum benefit for the community development, Intiland is partnering with other companies to design and execute the activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Launched in 2014, \u201cIntiland Teduh\u201d is part of Intiland\u2019s CSR programs. The objective is to provide and help renovate houses of underprivileged people. The program shows the company\u2019s commitment in assisting families in Indonesia to have a decent home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Intiland Teduh has launched several programs to help the community, including providing rental assistance to tenants of the three government-run rented flats\u2014Pesakih, Pinus Elok, and Marunda. The company also has prepared decent housing program in Tangerang area, partnering with experienced independent institutions. The distribution of assistance via these institutions is deemed fair and on target<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
