Jakarta (23\/11) – <\/strong>Property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk (Intiland; DILD) has appointed a national construction services company, PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk (Total; TOTL) as the principal contractor for the construction of the SQ R\u00e9s apartments. Total Bangun Persada will work on the construction of SQ R\u00e9s starting in early 2021, with a target of completion in the first quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n

The signing of the memorandum of appointment for Total Bangun Persada as the principal contractor was carried out by Utama Gondokusumo, Vice President Director & Chief Operating Officer of Intiland, and Janti Komadjaja, the President Director of Total, at the SQ R\u00e9s Marketing Gallery, Jakarta, on Monday (23\/11). This momentum made manifest Intiland\u2019s commitment to completing the construction of the SQ R\u00e9s project on time.<\/p>\n

The commencement of the construction work stage, according to Utama, is an important milestone or achievement of the construction of the SQ R\u00e9s apartment. Intiland expresses appreciation to all consumers who have put their trust and investment in buying SQ R\u00e9s apartment units.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe entrust it to Total because it has a strong reputation and track record in building various kinds of property projects, especially high-rise residential development. We have a history of success together in developing several recent projects, such as 1Park Avenue, 1Park Residences, and Regatta,\u201d said Utama after the signing of the memorandum of cooperation with Total in Jakarta, Monday (23\/11).<\/p>\n

As the principal contractor, Total is responsible for completing the structural, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works. The entire work process is ensured to apply health protocols strictly, given the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The construction process is estimated to take around 27 months, and thus the Company projects that the handover of units to the buyers can take place starting from the first quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cSQ R\u00e9s is part of the development of the integrated area of \u200b\u200bSouth Quarter, notably one of Intiland\u2019s key projects. This integrated area provides a variety of needs and functions such as offices, business, residential, commercial as well as lifestyle,\u201d he said further.<\/p>\n

Janti Komadjaja expressed her appreciation for Intiland\u2019s trust in the construction of SQ R\u00e9s. As one of the leading national property contractors, Total is committed to quality standards of work, in line with its motto, \u201cPride & Excellence in Construction\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to Janti, collaborating with Intiland is a source of pride for Total. Most of Intiland\u2019s projects have a sound and unique design concept, which poses a unique challenge for Total, in terms of quality, construction engineering, and timeliness of the work completion.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

The development of SQ R\u00e9s is one of the Company\u2019s strategies in strengthening the mixed-use & high rise development segment in a sustainable manner. Apart from SQ R\u00e9s, the Company currently has a number of residential apartment portfolios such as Regatta, Fifty Seven Promenade, 1Park Avenue, Aeropolis, and Graha Golf, The Rosebay and Praxis apartments which are located in the city of Surabaya.<\/p>\n

The Company presents SQ R\u00e9s as a high-quality, modern high-rise residence that answers the needs of an increasingly dynamic urban community. Occupying a development area of \u200b\u200b1.3 hectares, the Company allocates 65% of the area for green areas designated as parks and outdoor areas.<\/p>\n

The SQ R\u00e9s Apartment also uses a type of double-glazed glass to improve the thermal performance of the facade and reduce the use of electrical energy for air conditioning needs. The use of this type of glass reduces exposure to sunlight and noise that enters the space, so that the use of electricity for air conditioning becomes more efficient.<\/p>\n
