Jakarta (01/05) – The national property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk. has inaugurated South Quarter DOME (SQ DOME), a modern retail and lifestyle center which is part of the development phase I of the integrated office complex South Quarter, located in Jakarta’s TB Simatupang area. The opening of SQ DOME was held on Sunday, May 1 2016 and attended by the management of the Company.
Executive Director of Marketing, Susan Pranata explained that SQ DOME is set up to become a new meeting point for professionals in South Jakarta. SQ DOME carries the concept “meet, dine, hangout”, and is designed to cater to the needs of inspired space for socialization, collaboration as well as a venue for the professionals and the public to unwind.
“We introduce SQ DOME as a go-to place for professionals and the public in general to gather, meet and collaborate. With its unique design, concept and environment, we want to inspire anyone coming to SQ Dome,” Susan said.
SQ DOME houses various popular coffee shops and restaurants. Yet, aside from food & beverage tenants, SQ DOME also features bookstore, supermarket, fitness center, travel agents and beauty salon.
As part of SQ DOME launching event, the Company has arranged a series of activities which last from May 1 until August 7, 2016. At the inauguration, SQ DOME presented three popular Indonesian bands: Kahitna, Yovie & The Nuno, and 5 Romeo. The other activities include Kids Vaganza which last from May 3 until 15, Travel Fair from May 17 until 29, Kampoeng Ramadhan from May 31 until July 3, Beauty & Sports from July 12 until 24, and Celebrity Fashion Expo from July 26 until August 7, 2016.
SQ DOME is located in the middle of South Quarter complex, surrounded by its three office towers. South Quarter is a choice office complex where some of the biggest multinational companies, including Citi Indonesia, General Electric, Tupperware, Calmic, and Rentokil, have their office.
Besides its unique building design, South Quarter is the widest integrated office complex along Jalan TB Simatupang corridor, South Jakarta. The location has a toll road access and will have mass rapid transit (MRT) line pass through it. The MRT is currently under development.
“We present South Quarter as a place that inspires. We design its working environment to improve productivity. At SQ DOME, we have prepared open spaces as alternatives to places for activities, either working or having a discussion,” Susan Pranata explained.
South Quarter boasts a unique design which implements the environment-friendly elements born of the creative mind of Tom Wright, who, along with the architecture and technical consultant, Atkins, has created some of the world’s best modern architectural wonders, including Burj Al Arab in Dubai and Regatta in Jakarta. South Quarter is one of the green structures in Jakarta which are certified GOLD in Design Recognition from Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI).
